Welcome to PaRD's final Newsletter in 2018!
Dear Reader,

What a year it has been!

Thanks to the members’ efforts in 2018, PaRD has gained momentum – almost 100 members are now actively cooperating in the partnership, coming together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. But before updating you on only a fraction of their activities both as individual entities and within PaRD and its work-streams, please allow me to share some final thoughts on 2018.

Over a two-year consultative process, we reached the point to finalize and approve PaRD's governance structure at the General Assembly of Members at Chateau de Bossey in June. PaRD's members can proudly say that their partnership went from an idea in 2016 to a functional and working partnership in 2018.  I would like to express my gratitude to each and everyone, who made this process such an encouraging success.

Now, we are moving on to an even busier 2019 full of events, initiatives and activities in PaRD and particularly in its work-streams. On that note, let me guide your attention to the Save The Date for the 2019 PaRD General Assembly of Members to be hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark/DANIDA and the Danish Network on Religion and Development from May 1st to 3rd, 2019 in Copenhagen.

We wish all of you a peaceful closing of the year and Merry Christmas to those who are celebrating!

With my best wishes to you and your dear ones,

Ulrich Nitschke
